Earthsounds is an Apple TV+ original that reveals the natural world as you have never heard it — a global journey told through the extraordinary sounds animals make to find food, raise their young, defend territory and survive. From the infrasound of elephants to the chorus of a coral reef, the series uses sound as the lens through which we come to understand life on Earth.

Tom worked on the series with the Offspring Films team and led on its sustainability, embedding lower-carbon ways of working across a complex, globe-spanning production.

The result set a new bar on two fronts. Earthsounds won an Emmy for its Sound, and the team behind it won the Jackson Wild Innovation in Green Production Award — recognition for delivering a genuinely lower-carbon shoot without compromising the ambition or craft of the films. For Forest Spirit Media it stands as proof of a founding belief: that world-class natural history and measurable sustainability are not a trade-off, but can be built together from the first day of production.
