Return to Gashaka Gumti
Gashaka Gumti is Nigeria’s largest national park – 6,400 square kilometres of some of the most ancient forest on the continent, and a last stronghold for the Nigeria-Cameroon chimpanzee, the rarest chimpanzee in Africa. Banditry had pushed the park to the brink and international conservation partners had pulled out. Now the search for the chimpanzees has begun once again.

Earthsounds
Earthsounds is an Apple TV+ original that reveals the natural world as you have never heard it – a global journey told through the extraordinary sounds made by animals, plants and the Earth itself. From the infrasound of elephants to the chorus of a coral reef, the series uses sound as the lens through which we come to understand life on Earth. Tom Directed the ‘Polar Worlds’ episode as well as producing on the ‘African Plains’ and ‘Listening to Our Planet’ epsiodes.
Earth at Night in Color
Earth at Night in Color is an Apple TV+ original that films the hidden half of animals’ lives – the night – in full colour. Using specially developed low-light cameras, the series captures nocturnal behaviour rarely, if ever, seen this way: lions hunting under moonlight, pumas moving through the mountains, and animals living out their nights in true colour rather than the ghostly green of conventional night vision.
